San Francisco Bay Bridge, Black and White
The San Francisco Bay Bridge connects San Francisco and Oakland via Treasure Island. Both spans were double-deck until recently when the eastern half was replaced with a newer bridge.
San Francisco Through the Gate
Here we are... sailing west of the Golden Gate Bridge with nothing between us and Asia except the Pacific Ocean. San Francisco is in the distance, waiting for us to come back.
San Francisco - August 2015, Black and White
South Beach Harbor has 700 slips for boats and is located right next to AT&T Park and has close access to downtown San Francisco.
Under the Golden Gate Bridge
Having a friend with a sailboat in the Bay Area means getting to see some amazing scenes! Here we are sailing back to Oakland through under the Golden Gate Bridge!
Speak No Evil
I don't know why, but only one of the monkeys was on the bench when I saw this in San Francisco's Chinatown in January 2012. The poor guy looks so lonely.
Gandhi Statue at Ferry Building
I captured this in 2012 while we were on a long weekend trip to SF and northern California.
The early morning Sun hits the south-facing side of the clock tower at the Ferry Building creating a stark contrast between the sky, the shadows and the sunlit areas.
Goat Rock state beach is near Jenner, California and has some stunning north California views. I got this while we were spending a long weekend along the coast just a couple of months before our son was born.
Palm Trees at Sunset
I took this in 2010 a few days after I first got a DSLR. I've always been happy with it and have it in my home in a spot I see every day. It's a wonderfully relaxing scene and I love seeing it all the time!
